Living and campaigning on the Prairies for most of my adult life I'm quite familiar with the types of epithets used by hardcore Reformers/supporters when being asked about treaty rights on the doorstep (usually the opinion was forthcoming without any question)... This is why the recent announcement about treaty rights being extended makes me so overjoyed. Besides the obvious pandering, it is a delicious slap in the face of every xenophobic Reform-a-Tory in the land... And they STILL won't get the votes!
