Pissed Off About The James Pardon???

Blame this guy: PM Harper...

Harper holds ultimate accountability for his government. If his government REALLY felt there was something wrong with the parole system in Canada, they wouldn't have been the sitting government during the largest granting of pardons in Canadian history... They also wouldn't have reappointed and promoted the Parole Board official who made the James pardon decision, after the pardon had been issued...

Now PMSH would have you believe he is "concerned" about our system.

Really "Steve"?

Really?

The original legislation was written by a Liberal government. The holes in the system that are just not coming to light were there from the beginning.

Lets say the Conservatives were to try and stop this from happening again. You know that the Liberal senators would vote against it and probably the current Liberal MP's also.

But keep throwing crap at Harper . . . maybe something will stick sometime.

I think that Harper knew more than you think..must blame someone else. I gues when it became a hockey thing, he just had to do "something", and to show people he is tough on crime......

Well, I think that noting that a pardon is available after an ex-convict has behaved him/herself for five years after incarceration and that the largest number ever have been given would say that recidivism rates must be down.

I think PMSH does take responsibility. You better stand back cause I think we are going to see things change fast and hard. Then will you be lined up to thank him for stopping the pardon of child molestors in the future. I will and so will many others Lead follow or get the hell out of the way. Dont yip at the sidelines then complain when the fix comes. k.

Here's what Toews told Canwest News Service:

“I don’t think we can pick and choose here very easily. You try explaining to a victim that the person who raped their daughter was not a celebrity offender and that’s why it wasn’t brought to our attention. To a victim, every offender is a celebrity offender."

Anon #1: So, Harper sits for over 4 years with the so-called "crappy" policy of his Liberal precursors? C'mon. Whatever happened to accountability? Government of convenience is what this is. Shameless politicizing of an issue.
