Are you insinuating that Obama offered that he had difficulty in dealing with Harper government?

Sorry, but I find it difficult to believe that Obama would reveal anything of the sort about a foreign country's leader, while meeting with some Opposition leader.

Obama and Harper seemed to genuinely get along today.

Some might even see Ignatieff's comment as lacking diplomacy and maturity.

Well that was Iggy's choice - he chose to prop up the Harper govt so he just has to suck it up.

Did you read where Iggy The Liberal leader hinted that his party may not insist that Canada honour its pledge to withdraw troops from Afghanistan by 2011.

Right - holy batman
here

We can take "honor" off Iggy's imperial lite attributable character traits.

Maybe all young liberals being good patriotic Canadians need to sign for a mission or two in Stan.

Hey... I just listened to Michael's presser. And... no... I think it is entirely likely that two individuals, who are are closely tied philosophically and socially/educationally as Mssrs. Obama and Ignatieff, would have discussed the stick in the mud nature of the backwards-thinking Neo-Conservative movement. I'm sure Mr. Obama indicated that he knows all about Harper's double talk, and his outright enmity to global treaties on greenhouse gases - at Bush's heel.

Sometimes I think some of our Conservatives need a little lesson in global politics (or "the opposite of narrow-mindedness 101"). People like Barack, who spent years with the poor and destitute in Chicago, despise people like Bush and Harper. Only his decorum, educational background, and diplomatic savvy keep Mr. Obama "cool" under the collar when talking to Harper. He should have taken his gloves off and smote Harper for the NAFTA-gate scandal that almost cost him the Democratic nomination.
