Stewart Lays The Smack Down On Cramer

Wow. Can't believe I just saw that. Jon Stewart just hammered Jim Cramer of CNBC's "Mad Money". It was a thing of beauty to watch another Conservative cheerleader get their @ss handed to them...

It was a GREAT interview, but "Conservative cheerleader"?

Jim Cramer voted for and supported Barack Obama and has been very complimentary of some of his policies and was much more critical of Bush's Treasury Secretary and Bush's general approach.

Let's be fair here - everything Cramer got from Stewart he deserved, but he's not a Conservative cheerleader - he spent a lot time in that interview agreeing with Stewart.

He may be one of the few ones that might actually be reedamable, at least he went on the show - no one else from CNBC would.

That's why the term I used was "conservative cheerleader", and not conservative. Regardless of whom he supported in the election (and it IS American politics - somewhat more conservative than ours to begin with), his bashing of any attempts to nationalize anything, and tacit support of big banks and the big corporate crooks? From where I stand (in the middle), and certainly from Jon Stewart's viewpoint, Cramer was no more than a cheerleader. He certainly wasn't a "journalist", or "whistle blower" in all this...

That said, I do subscribe to the "Mad Money" podcast - for the entertainment value. I have a fund advisor for any investments I make... and my advice has certainly been better than Cramer's... Booya!

I did enjoy that interview, even though it was somewhat lopsided as Cramer kind of just sat there and took it. But what Stewart said was true; it was the fact that he made it so clear for people to understand it still surprises some people including me.

That said, I wish the GoodLife I went to stopped showing Fast Money on TV every time I go. THAT show is really annoying.
