Check... Again...

We play chess to Harper's checkers...

Wow!  Didn't think the Reform-a-Tory's would cave like that.  If they really had us by the whiskers (as they were nervously claiming the past day or two), they certainly would not have admitted what they did today.  Big movement on EI (the admission that the system is wrong).  Nice to guarantee an extra report card and opposition day - just solidifying the "inept Conservatives" meme.

I look forward to the October election - and the BBQ circuit!

The funny thing is that Kinsella issues the offical LPC talking points and spin, one of them being don't believe the Conservatives... we really won. And like a good koolaide drinker you regurgitate it.

At least not all the Liberal bloggers are stooges like you and can call a spade a spade.

Basically it means we will be having the election in the fall of 2009 that we were supposed to have under Harper's law.
Principles schinciples, Harper damned the torpedoes (and honesty and decency and law abidedness and democracy and...) and he will still have to have to hold an election when he said we would. Can you imagine what this craven opportunist would have done to our country had his gamble paid off with a majority last year? I shudder to think of 6 more months with him at the helm, imagine 4 YEARS!

You're living in a fantasy land.

Harper made no such admission, he agreed to a non-binding report from a non-binding advisory panel.

Probation II. Big fracking deal.

It is a sad day when we start believing our own spin.

Ignatieff caved on everything and gave Harper a chance to look conciliatory.

Reid: I suppose that next, you're going to say that we ARE WK? LOL... You guys were thinking WK is Gritgirl too... Hmmm... Maybe there are a LOT of us who do believe in the Liberal strategy.

Ps: your guy is DONE. Stick a fork in him. We are from the Prairies - recently living in Calgary - and even know a couple of Con MPs and staffers. The situation on the ground is not good. Most of our Facebook friends are Liberals, but one of our buds is a Con staffer (former - quit, disgruntled with the lack of true blue conservativeness the Harper gang is showing), and wrote a nice little synopsis on what's going on...
