Least Diverse Cabinet EVER... Shame

So much for "reaching out to" minorities. Seems like Mr. Harper's version of "diversity" means adding a couple of (4) women to a cabinet - which STILL has less women than the last Liberal cabinet. It was so bad for Harper (a party lacking so-called "experienced" women) that he had to appoint rookies to look good. We'll see if they keep him looking good in the months ahead.

For all the BS platitudes made to minority groups (ethnic, gender-based, and other), this Harper cabinet gets a grade of "F". For Mr. Harper to be taken seriously by any such group, he had to put his money where his mouth is, and actually APPOINT some visible minorities (and MORE women) to cabinet roles. Take a look at THIS PICTURE and comment (below) on what you see. I know what I see, and it DOESN'T EVEN REFLECT THE CANADIAN REALITY.

It is sad to see that many Canadian minorities blindly accepting this man's platitudes on being open and accepting.

A picture speaks a thousand words, and this picture tells no lies. We can now clearly see a Canada the way a NeoConservative Harper government would like to see it.

Oh yeah... and that lady in the middle? She's our Governor General, and NOT part of the Conservative Cabinet (just in case some of you Con trolls are wondering who she is, and how she got there). Yeah, she was a Liberal appointment - and a darned good one too.

Well, I do give him credit for the new Health minister. She certainly appears to have (for a CON) reasonable credentials to hold a post, and she's an Inuit.
That's gotta count for something, right?
But the 30 other morons and assholes (Ritz@!?) don't inspire much hope.

Bev Oda?

besides, appointing people to cabinet because they are a visbile minority is plain dumb

I mean, if they put Nina Grewal into Cabinet, we would have all had a field day.

I still think the surprise appointment is Merrifield. The only road he knows is the raod to heaven and the the road to hell for those darn abortion supporters!

I'm only suggesting their total lack of diversity. I would never suggest someone like Grewal could or should be in cabinet. Not at all. I am trying to illustrate their dearth of talent, and diverse talent - whether based on gender, ethnicity, etc.

Heck, forget them doing any "token" appointments, their "regular" cabinet needs remedial courses on life in the 21st Century... lol...
