CanWest Papers, and Quebecor Papers (Sun) have decided to take the offensive on behalf of Stephen Harper. Not that the Conservative advertising funds were not enough... these papers have decided to shed all objectivity and basically try to dupe the public into believing something "shady" is going on, when in reality Parliament's majority is speaking.
I'm providing a link (below) to all CanWest papers. Email them with the truth! Find papers in your area. Find any other papers, and email them.
Also, I propose a ban on advertising in these papers. Seriously. I am the head of a merchants association, and we do full page ads with a CanWest Paper in the Lower Mainland. I am going to work with my group to pull these ads, and go to the competitor. I am also going to halt my "for rent" ads for rental properties. Other Liberals, NDPers, Bloc, and Green members/supporters who advertise in these papers should follow suit.
I URGE ALL LIBERALS TO PULL ADS FROM MEDIA OUTLETS WHICH FAIL TO GIVE THIS STORY BALANCED COVERAGE!

- Don't advertise your garage sale
- Don't advertise your room for rent
The Democrats in the US managed this... so can we! YES WE CAN!

I don't think a ban is the way to go, but I was sickened by the editorial in my Osprey newspaper today. First, they said the Bloc was part of the coalition. What type of moronic spin is that? Then they talk about how illegitimate it is for the coalition to form government. Holy FUCK! Did Canada move out from underneath me and I no longer live in a parliamentary democracy? This is just crap from these rags. Even the Governor General herself said what's happening is just part of the process.
